cable reel4

Often when we go to take the headphones to listen to music we find them tangled and it takes longer to untangle them than to hear a song. It is for this reason, so that you can enjoy the song without wasting time, that in this post we want to show you a simple way to store cables and not get tangled.

In the post that follows, we will learn how to make a cable reel with a piece of plastic and a string. Easy, with recycled materials and practical. What more could you want?

Materials

  1. Plastic.
  2. A string.
  3. A perforator.
  4. Scissors.
  5. A pen.

Our Process

First we will draw a kind of oval on the plastic, leaving one side unfinished. Later We will fold the plastic in half and cut out the oval shape that will remain as if it were "siamese". This will be the basis of our cable reel.

Now, We will make holes with the perforator on both sides and the center of the plastic, as we see in the photograph on the left. Later, We will pass a string through the holes on the sides to be able to close the cable reel.

It is important that the central hole is large enough to allow the headphone plug to pass throughIf not, with the help of scissors we will enlarge the hole.

Finally, we will only have to enter the plug through the central hole of the cable reel and wrap the cable around it and close it with a bow made with the string.
