In this tutorial I show you how to mold a Pony with Fimo or polymer clay. I remember that when I was little I had a few of these dolls and for a few years they have become fashionable again among the little ones. This figure can not only serve as a decoration or keychain, it can also be a toy for any child, and since you can make it in many colors, you have thousands of possibilities.
Materials
To make the Pony you will need to Fimo o polymer clayEither baking or air drying. The colors that I have used for the tutorial are:
- Pink
- Pastel yellow
- Blanco
- Black
Step by step
Start with the body. To do this, create a ball and roll it on one side with the palm of your hand, in this way it will stretch to create a kind of drop.
To make the cabeza Follow the same procedure and stick it in the thickest part on the body.
It's time to put the pins. From a ball, stretch it a little to make a line. If you press more at one end, it will come out thinner on one side and it will fit you better. You must do all fours.
Glue them to the body through the thickest part of the legs.
Something very important about these Ponies is the mane. To make the hair, create a ball and roll it with the palm of your hand on one side, thus creating a pointed drop. Smash it so you can put it on your head.
Create two equal shapes. One stick it on top of the head with the beak forward, and the other behind with the beak down.
Create a curl on each strand by twisting the ends of the hair.
Since the bangs cover a part of the face, you only have to make a eye. To do this, create a white circle, flatten it and glue it on the face of the Pony. Create a smaller one in black and glue it on top. Create two other much smaller targets to simulate the brightness of the eyes. Finally with two small black lines put the eyelashes.
To make them ears create two balls, stretch them as you did with the hair and flatten them.
You must stick them through the thickest part to the head of the Pony.
Only the tail. You should do the same as with the strands of hair, but do not crush them, directly curl the beak.
You just have to stick it back on the thick part.
And you will have the finished Pony. This is the result.
