Pot decoration with paint

Pot decoration with paint

Big and small plants they are part of many homes to give these life and color. However, the pots deteriorate over time making them become too inconspicuous, so, in order not to get rid of them and save a little today we present you a great idea.

This consists of making a small decoration with acrylic paint to give them much more life than they already have and also be able to give a touch of color and design to any part of the house, so we have an original and unique decoration with flowerpots.

Materials

  • Pots.
  • Acrylic paintings.
  • Liner brush.
  • Flat brush.
  • Palette brush.
  • Water-based varnish.

Our Process

For the paint to adhere well, it is recommended that the pots are clean and completely dry. You can scrub them and then dry with absorbent paper.

We give a layer of white paint with the trowel all over the pot except for the edge, so that, when hitting the other colors, they do not fade. Let dry 24 hours.

Then, we delimit with the liner and painting the different colors in different ways over the pot to give it an abstract design (flat brush).

Finally, look for ways that suit and try not to overlap the colors, although with the acrylic technique it is possible and easy to achieve.
