Puppets or finger puppets boys and girls love to tell their tales, stories and create a fantasy world. Today I am going to show you these little birds. They are very easy and quick to do, so much so that it will surprise you.
This work is very economical because we can use pieces of eva rubber that we have left over in previous jobs, it is a way to save and recycle the craft material that we have at home.
Materials to make the puppets
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- Permanent markers
- Mini Cupcake Capsules
- Eva rubber punches
- Mobile eyes
Procedure for making the puppets
- With the help of circular objects (I have chosen cookie cutters) or a compass, cut out two circles in eva rubber of about 6 cm and 9 cm in diameter.
- Stick them one on top of the other to form the head and body.
- With the help of the circle punch, make two in the lower part of the body to be able to put your fingers later.
4. Take the capsules from the muffins, fold them in half and shape it into a wing. Then glue them to the sides of the bird's body.
5. Glue the eyes mobiles on the face of the little bird.
6. With a piece of orange eva rubber form the beak and stick it under the eyes.
7. Use an eva rubber "hand" or something similar to make the crest and make the details of the beak and eyelashes of our birds' eyes.
We are done and we already have our finger puppet, ideal for the little ones in the house. And remember that you can play with the designs and colors.
