RECYCLE CARDBOARD BOXES AND GLASS JARS TO CREATE A MOBILE VASE

In this tutorial I bring you an idea for recycle cardboard y glass bottles at the same time. We will create a flower vase o vase of flowers which at the same time serves us as mobile holder. We can place the mobile in a decorative place and always know where it is.

Materials

To make the flower vase with mobile holder we are going to need the following materials:

  • Cardboard
  • Glass jar
  • Cutter
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Eva or foamy rubber
  • Gun silicone
  • Jute rope
  • Decoration (silhouettes of different materials, flowers, stickers ...)

It is very easy to do and also you have thousands of possibilities of decor. Adapt it to the space where you are going to place it so that it matches the decoration of the room.

  1. Cut 4 rectangles the height and width of the glass jar.
  2. Glue the 4 rectangles on the sides with hot silicone, creating a cube open at both ends.
  3. Cut a cardboard rectangle the width of the cube. Roll it with the help of a pencil or a pen.
  4. Paste that open piece but bent on one of the faces of the cube.
  5. Roll up another piece of cardboard again but this time leave it closed like a tube, sticking it with the help of silicone.
  6. Glue that tube on the end of the curved part.
  7. Measure the basis vase and cut a piece of cardboard with those measurements. Stick it on the base with hot silicone.
  8. Line the structure with eva gum.
  9. Take jute rope in the joints of the structure.
  10. Paste decoration like silhouettes.

You can make it in many different colors and you can play with the combination of the flowers and the decoration of the silhouettes that you are going to paste. It serves as a decoration, but also as a useful object to leave your mobile and not lose it at home.
