Recycled stars for your Christmas tree

The Christmas decorations They are ideal to hang on the Christmas tree, you can make them in different shapes and materials. Makings:

  • Scissors
  • Recycled wrapping paper to your liking
  • Cardboard or cardboard of white, green or red color.
  • Needle
  • Golden thread.
  • Frost
  • Sticking

Cardboard star making:

Take the scissors and cut 5 strips of cardboard 2 cm thick, make several folds until you get 5 petals, join all the petals in the center, then press the tips of the petals with your fingers to give them a pointed shape. Finally With a needle and thread sew the center of the star to secure it and at the tip of one of the petals sew a thread that will be used to hang from the Christmas tree.

Making the paper star:

Take the wrapping paper and draw a star on the inner side, fold the paper inward to complete the shape on both sides, now make a small cut at the top end of the star and make a second star that you will fit into this cut to give it a feeling of three-dimensionality. Finally, with the help of a needle and thread, sew the thread that you are going to use to hang it on the Christmas tree at one end of your star.

At the end you can put a little glue on your stars and sprinkle glitter of the color of your choice.
