If there is one wonderful thing to do with children, it is to create their own toys. This spinner (spinner) is made of cardboard and paper, it is very easy and children will have a great time enjoying their toy. Best of all, they will also feel the satisfaction of having done well and being able to spend their free time.
It is very simple to do and the materials are basic, so it is more than likely that you have it at home and can do it right now.
Materials you need
- 1 cardboard sheet
- 1 white sheet DIN-A4
- 1 roll of rope
- 1 scissors or cutter
- 1 glue stick
- 1 wide mouth glass
- 1 pencil
- 1 eraser
- Colored markers
What to do to perform the spinner
First you will have to make a circle with the glass (or with a compass or another element that allows you to make it completely round) both on the cardboard and on the DIN-A4 sheet. Both circles must be the same size. If you want to make more than one spinner then make as many circles as you need.
Then cut them with scissors that cut well or in any case with a utility knife. With the cutter it is easier to cut the cardboard and the folio with the scissors. Then take the circles from the sheet and paint them the way you want. The idea is that when it is finished and you turn it around, make a nice optical effect. You can copy our way of painting it if you want.
When you have them painted (only on one side), glue the paper on the side that is not painted to the cardboard, you will have both sides of the cardboard circle painted. As you can see, we have made two spinners.
Then with the scissors, you will have to make two holes a little apart in the center. Pass the rope through each of them and tie them at the end of each one.
Then to play, you will only have to turn the rope and when you have given it enough turns, stretch it to the sides, and you will love the spinner effect!
You now have your great round spinner ready to play!
