The eva or foamy rubber bookmarks They are great for bringing children closer to the world of reading. They can be made from your favorite characters.

Materials to make the bookmarks
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue or hot glue gun
- Colored wooden sticks
- Mobile eyes
- Permanent markers
- 6 cm diameter circular object or compass
- Eva rubber punches
- Blush and a cotton swab or red chalk
- White acrylic paint and a skewer or awl stick.
- Ludo chips, buttons, or something to decorate
Process for making the bookmark
Using the compass or a circular object cut out two circles with 6 cm diameteror in flesh color and in the color that you like the most for the hair of our boy or girl.
Cut the hairstyle in the dark circle that you like best for your character.
With the circle punch or by hand if you don't have, make two circles that will be the ears.
Stick in the face hair and ears.
Add the moving eyes, You can use them in the size that you like the most, but that they are proportionate with the face.
With fine-tipped black permanent marker make the details of the face: eyelashes, nose and mouth. Add a little rouge with eyeshadow and a cotton swab or red chalk.
With white acrylic paint put some freckles on the cheeks and you can give it some shade in the hair.
Create two hearts with the eva rubber punch and prepare the stick of the color that you like the most.
Glue the hearts on the stick as the photo shows.
On the stick put some detail like buttons, ornaments or as I have made, ludo chips.
Finally, on top of the hearts and you will have your bookmark finished.
You can also make a girl's model like this one, but you can play around with the designs.
