How its goes the week? I hope that it is great. We, loaded with new ideas that can help you in your craft work. Like for example, this post, in which we show you an idea to do simple and inexpensive packaging that will help you make a gift look more.
To make this craft, you can use any type of flexible material. We have chosen the EVA rubber for its ease to work and for its low cost.
Materials
- EVA rubber.
- Scissors.
- Pencil.
- Una tapa boat or any other object that helps us to mark the shape.
- Heat sealing gun.
- Griddle.
Our Process
First we will mark the shape that we want, in this case we have used a rectangular shaped pot with rounded edges, on the EVA rubber.
Then we will mark it and proceed to shape it. To give it the shape we want, we will use either an iron or the tip of the heat sealing gun. We will fold forming an inner rectangle and we will apply heat to mark the line.
Once we have the inner rectangle made of what will be our gift packaging, we will proceed to glue with the heat sealer gun or any other contact glue, the corners. Joining them in the way you see in the photograph, as if you were giving a pinch to the EVA rubber.
Then, in the two narrowest bands of the rectangle, we will make another pinch, as we see in the photo above, and we will apply heat-sealing glue.
Once we have everything ready, we will only have to do the interior part. To do this, all you have to do is cut out a piece of EVA rubber that will serve to place the gift. In this case, we have placed a ring and used the EVA rubber as a pad to hold it.
To finish, it will be enough to use a simple piece of fabric or a ribbon and surround the packaging closing it with a knot or a bow.
Until the next DIY!
