Do you want us to make beautiful figures and leave them hanging from the ceiling? And with that enthusiasm when we said "okay!", Minutes later, we got down to work.

  3. Then We start by placing 3 pieces by the thread, and we join them passing the thread back through the beginning to have it well attached

Ideas for recycling straws

  1. We continue doing the second half of the triangle, and then we finish after make the first figure.
  2. Now we must put it all together. Use the line of 4 straws as a reference, it will be easier. Finish by passing the thread through one of the ends, especially. Then it will serve to hang the figure.

Crafts for kids

  1. After making 4 equal figures (octahedra), cut 8 straws the same size as before and 4 longer. An exact measurement is not necessary, only approximate.
  2. Join them as before, but this time leaving the short ones on one side, and the long ones on the other to match us.

Recycle craft supplies

  1. Finally, join the 3 branches at the beginning with the same thread that we have used, so that it does not clash. Then, place the 4 small ones on each end, and the larger one in the center, and with more slack.
