Children's cards They are ideal for celebrating parties, inviting birthdays, etc. In this post I'm going to show you how to make this card with a turtle taking advantage of paper cuts, eva rubber and cardboard.
Materials to make the summer turtle card
- Colour cardboard
- Rubber eva
- Decorated papers
- Eva rubber punches
- Mobile eyes
- Permanent markers
- Eyeshadow or blush and a cotton swab
Procedure for making the summer turtle card
- To start you need a cardboard that measures 28x17 inch. You can modify this size to your liking.
- Fold it in half with the help of some object.
- Cut out another white card with the measurements that I indicate and glue it in the center.
- To form the turtle, Prepare these pieces, they are very easy to create. I have used foam rubber and decorated paper.
- First, glue the legs to the shell.
- Then the tail and to finish the head.
- When you have the finished turtle, glue it on top of the cardboard.
- Then I'll paste a moving eye in the head and with a fine marker I am going to do the details like lashes and mouth.
- Other details that I am going to do are the blushes with eyeshadow and a cotton swab and the ones with brown marker.
- With the heart punch I have made two red ones and I am going to glue them on top of the card. Also some leaves and flowers at the bottom.
- With the drills you can make the flower designs that you like the most, I have opted for these simple ones and in various sizes.
- With a marker I'm going to color the center of the flowers and make a backstitch around the entire frame of the card with red.
- To finish today's work I'm going to write the word «Summer» which means summer at the top of the card.
- Now you just have to write a personalized or special message inside the card.
