Summer It has arrived and the children have a lot of free time, so in this post I am going to show you how to make this beach-inspired case so that they can save their colors and can take them anywhere and create their fantasies in their sketchbook.
Materials to make the summer case
- Colored eva rubber
- Scissors
- Glue
- A zipper
- Eva rubber punches
- Rubber letters eva
- Mobile eyes
- Ruler and pencil
- Markers
- Red pipe cleaners
- Alcohol and a brush
Procedure for making the summer case
- To start you need a zipper (mine is 21 cm) and a rectangle of eva rubber.
- The rectangle should be as wide as the zipper, but you can put the length you want and that way more materials will fit.
- Glue the eva rubber very carefully on top of a part of the zipper, take care not to put glue on the teeth to avoid having problems when closing.
- Flip the foam over and glue on the other side of the zipper.
- Once you have done this, you will have the zipper glued to the eva rubber completely.
- Glue in the ends of the zipper and finish by joining the edges so that the colors of the case do not come off.
- Cut out a beige or brown rectangle to make the beach sand.
- Cut some small waves on the edge.
- Glue the sand and trim the excess from the sides.
- Pleasure a sun with the hole punch and stick it in the sky.
- With brown marker, make some lines in the sand and smudge them with alcohol and a brush.
WE FORM THE CRAB
- Cut out a circle to make the head of the crab, mine is 6 cm in diameter.
- Prepare these pieces to form the crab and cut the pieces of pipe cleaners.
- Form the pliers as you see in the image by cutting out a piece of a circle.
- Glue on the pipe cleaners.
- From behind form what you see in the image and put hot silicone.
- Flip it over and shape the legs with your hands.
- Glue the eyes to his face and draw a smile with a felt-tip pen.
- In the sand I have put some glitter foam stars.
- Glue the crab on top of the sand.
- On the back I am going to put another piece of sand and the name of the child to whom I am going to give it.
Ready, you have your case ready for summer and fill it with colors to make your best drawings.
