In this tutorial I will teach you how to model a little Teddy bear with Fimo o polymer clay. You can decorate with it a children's room, a gift box, a photo frame or the little ones can add it to their toys.
Materials
To make the Teddy bear you will need to Fimo or any polymer clay that you are used to using. You can use the colors that you like the most, but in this tutorial the ones you can see are:
- Brown
- Black
- Yellow
- RED
Step by step
Start with the body, since it is the central part and the one that will hold the rest of the pieces.
- Create a brown ball.
- Roll it with the palm of your hand making more pressure on one side so that that part is slightly sharpened.
Your body will be shaped like an egg.
Then put the cabeza.
- Create another brown ball.
- Roll it a little to make a small oval.
- Glue it horizontally on the body.
You can now create the ears.
- Create two brown balls.
- Smash them.
- Create another two smaller yellow balls.
- Squash them too.
- Glue the yellow balls on top of the brown ones.
- Squash them a little more when they are together.
- Stick them on the bear's head.
Follow by snout.
- Create a yellow ball.
- Roll it a bit to stretch it out and create an oval.
- Stick it on the bear's face by squashing it a little on it.
To make the nose.
- Create a small black ball.
- Roll it to make an oval as with the yellow of the muzzle.
- Stick it holm oak from the snout.
To finish the face, you just need to add the eyes and mouth.
- With an awl, make two holes in the face.
- Put two black balls into them for the eyes.
- For the mouth simply poke another hole with the awl in the bear's snout.
Add the legs.
- Make two brown balls.
- Roll them to create two lines.
- Stick them on the bear's body.
To do the feet.
- Create two brown balls.
- Roll them to create two ovals.
- Squash them a bit.
- Glue a yellow squashed ball to them, just like you did with their ears.
- Stick them on the legs.
Missing arms.
- Create two brown balls.
- Roll them on one side to create long drops.
- Press the thickest part with your finger to simulate hands.
- Glue the arms on the body and give it the posture you want.
Put some detail on it that identifies it as a teddy bear.
- To create a patch, flatten a red ball and flatten four sides to make it more square.
- Stick it on the bear's body.
- Score some lines with the knife to add more details.
- Simulate the seams of the teddy bear by marking holes in different parts of the body.
- Do not forget to also do them for the head.
And this is the result.
