Valentine Vase

Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to make a valentine vase recycling a glass jar, chopsticks and scraps of cardboard. It is very simple to do and it is very beautiful.

Do you want to see how to do it?

Materials that we will need to make our Valentine vase

  • Clean glass jar, we can save the lid for another craft
  • Thick rope or wool
  • Red cards, one of them shiny. You can also use eva rubber
  • Double-sided tape or other type of glue
  • Chopsticks
  • Decorative stones

Hands on craft

You can see how to do this craft in the following video:

  1. On the non-glossy cardboard we are going to draw two hearts, one inside the other and we will cut them out to leave the hollow figure of a heart.
  2. Using that template heart we are going to cut out another on the glossy paper.
  3. We glue both hearts, so that the brilliant is framed in it another.
  4. We put glue on the tip of the Chinese toothpick and glue the heart towards the middle of the figure. In this way we will have the 'flower' of our vase. We can make as many as we want and even with different papers, both textures and color. If the jar is small, I recommend not overloading it with flowers to make it look good.
  5. At glass jar very clean we are going to introduce a finger or finger and a half of decorative stones of the color of your choice or as in my case, the ones you have at home. We tie a string of rope or wool around the mouth of the jar and make a loop in front.
  6. We can only nail the 'flowers' on the stones of the jar and put everything where you like the most.

And ready! If you have wooden rods of different lengths, you can get a more original bouquet of 'flowers'.

I hope you cheer up and do this craft.
