In this tutorial I show you an idea to create a vase recycling glass bottles. We will line the bottle and apply a decoupage that will give personality to your vase.

- Glass bottle
- Rope
- Gun silicone
- Scissors
- Paper napkin
- White glue
- Brush
Step by step
To create the vase recycling glass bottles you must first take the bottle, rope and glue gun. When the hot glue gun is hot, apply a little bit of silicone to the bottom of the bottle and quickly glue the beginning of the rope. Go around the bottle with the rope.
You do not have to apply silicone to the entire bottle, you can apply it in some points so that the rope is fixed, it will be enough to hold it.
Ends of line your bottle. On the neck side you can superimpose several turns of rope and this will make it a little thicker, but if you want to leave it exactly with the shape of the bottle, continue gluing the rope as you have done so far.
When you reach the end corta the excess of the rope and apply a drop of silicone to seal it well.
And this is how it would look.
By lining it with jute rope many hairs will come out of it, and when doing the decoupage It is going to look bad, so you must cut all the hairs that come out with the scissors.
Now that you have the bottle ready you can start with it decoupage. Apply a coat of White glue with the help of a brush above the rope. I recommend that you not only do it where you are going to paste the napkin, but also apply it to the rest of the bottle, in this way you will seal everything perfectly.
Now prepare the paper napkin. You should only use the layer that has the drawing, so remove the white layers.
Cut the napkin as you like or leave it completely rectangular. Glue it on the string and surround the bottle with it. You can cut the excess with scissors.
Apply a coat of White glue on the napkin and surroundings to seal the paper well.
Let the white glue dry and it will look like this.
You just have to put a sprig of flowers and you will have a flower vase very cheerful and original.
