, cm per  card-watercolor

Christmas is approaching, those very endearing dates where we all wish each other the best. Today I show you How to make a Christmas card with watercolor, ideal to congratulate our loved ones this Christmas.

It is made with a watercolor drawing, very simple, but that gives it that touch of magic that at this time is so appropriate. If you want to see how I have done it, I show you the step by step:

Makings:

  1. Green cardboard.
  2. Watercolor paper. (high grammage).
  3. Watercolors.
  4. Black pen.
  5. Cutter.
  6. Scissors.
  7. Double sided tape.
  8. Masking or masking tape.
  9. Sea salt.

Processing:

  • We will cut a rectangle 9,5 cm by 14,5 cm on the watercolor paper. Next we will place the masking tape around the contour of the rectangle.
  • We will make the desired drawing on the paperI have already marked it with a pen, but if you want you can do it with a pencil.

  • We will apply the watercolor, in my case of blue color, it has to be very watered down. We will now spread the salt and let it dry. This effect is very nice and in this case it looks like it's snowing.
  • It is now turn of paint all the details of the drawing, taking into account the lights and shadows, that even if it is a simple drawing, it is important for the final result of the drawing.

  • Once the drawing has dried, we will carefully remove the masking tape, achieving with this that our drawing is well outlined.
  • With the edge of the scissors we will scrape the edge of the drawing to give that worn look and further contour the watercolor.

  • We will place double tape Tsar on the back of the watercolor.
  • We will cut a rectangle 15,5 cm by 21,50 cm on the cardboard and then fold in half.

  • We only have apply it to the cardboard.
  • And give that finishing touch with glossy accents at strategic points, in this case over the stars.
