These are the materials that I have used:
- a cardboard box that we want to recycle or a normal box
- a roll of jute rope for a medium basket
- sticks of the size we want the height of the basket to be
- hot glue gun with silicones
- marking pen
First step:
We take a box and we are going to paste the sticks around its four sides. We are hitting them with hot silicone.
You have to be careful to go sticking quickly the sticks as the silicone dries quickly. The sticks I have placed strategically but to have a little guide I have marked with a pencil lThe points where they will be placed before gluing them.
Second step:
We take the rope and we roll it from the base around the box. So that the rope is well attached to the box we are throwing globs of silicone in the sticks so that it stays well placed.
Third step:
We wind the rope until we reach on the edge of the box. Having come to the edge we will wrap the rope around each stick so that it is decorative.
Fourth step:
We wrap the box and turning arounds needed on each stick to its ends. With the rope without being able to wind much more, we finish the basket by sealing or sticking the end with silicone between the strings. To finish we will place the pompoms around the upper edge of basket Using the hot silicone to stick it.
