Crafts are instruments very useful for children small since they favor the fine motor skills of their little hands. One of the Crafts That encourage this learning are these wool pompoms that we can later use for anything else.
Things like key rings, scrunchies, bracelets, hats, etc, any accessory or garment that comes to mind. This type of craft is also very fun and easy to do for them, since they will surely love it to spend a good afternoon with their parents.
Materials
- Ball of wool.
- Hard cardboard.
- Scissors.
- Pencil.
Our Process
First of all, we will do some circles on sturdy cardboard and we will cut it out. In addition, in them we will make some inner circles, which we will also cut out.
Then, we will tie one of the ends to the circles with a knot and we will measure 1,5 m of wool and cut. We will start pass the wool through the center of this cardboard in order to complete both circles.
Then we'll open up a bit and we will trim the wool through the middle of both circles. We will have to do this very carefully so that the wool does not fray.
Lastly, we will introduce a piece of wool around both circles to tie the wool trimmings together so that these pompoms do not fray.
