In today's tutorial, we will show you how to make a garland or Crown of flowers. Surely you have seen many throughout the summer, but not because the hottest season has ended, we must give up wearing them.
Material
- Cloth flowers.
- Thread and needle.
- A ribbon.
Our Process
We will take the flower branches and separate them from the stems. We will do the same with the leaves. Later, we will decide how we will put them in order to make our wreath or flower garland.
In this case, I took some very large flowers, so I ended up using it as an ornament for a hat (as if it were the hat band) since it seemed very ornate as a crown.
Once we have separated the flowers and leaves, and chosen how they will go; we will cut a piece of tape of about 80 centimeters.
Then we will sew the flowers and leaves in the arrangement that we had previously decided. We have placed some higher than others and quite close together, which has made it give a somewhat ornate but beautiful effect. Another option is to put them with a distance of a few centimeters between flower and flower and not even put the leaves on the crown. That will depend on your taste.
If you don't want to sew, you can also hook the flowers with fabric glue. Remember that, if you do it like this, you will have to let it dry for a few hours so that it sticks well.
Finally, we just have to put it on and tie it with a bow.
