If you like to do gift boxes, here you have a very simple shaped like a birthday cake. To be able to do it you have to follow the steps of the patterns that you have to cut out, make the shape and join them. This craft seems very original so that you can do with children and be able to save a gift to give on a birthday. The materials that I have used for two snakes are:
- Two A4 size light pink cardstock
- A 2 cm wide piece of decorative tape
- A piece of decorative paper with fringes, in my case it is yellow
- Three large white pompoms
- A white and pink striped cardboard straw
- Tissue-type paper to put inside the box
- A compass
- A rule
- A pen
- Scissors
- Hot silicone and her gun
- Pink marker

First step:
In one of the cards we are going to make two strips. The two will be about 7 cm wide and we will leave the entire length of the A4-size card in length. We cut them out.
Second step:
We are going to bend doing a circle with the cardboard strips. The first we will form by making a cylinder 7 cm wide that we will help ourselves by measuring with a ruler. To close the We will glue their ends with hot silicone. The second we will form by making a 7,5 cm cylinder and we will also close it with glue.
Third step:
Let's do the bases of the cylinders. We will draw with a compass a 7 cm circle, but around it we will draw another 8 cm. We cut out the 8 cm circle and begin to trim eyelashes towards the 7 cm circle. These tabs will help us to glue the circle inside the 7 cm cylinder. We will do the same with another circle, we will draw a 7,5 cm one and around it we will draw another 8,5 cm. We will also make the tabs and stick it on the 7,5 cm cylinder.
Fourth step:
We draw a cardboard circle of 10 cm that we will place at the base of the entire structure. We will cut it out and paste it. At the base of this cylinder we are going to glue our decorative ribbon with the help of hot silicone.
Fifth step:
In the other box that we have formed, the one that covers the one below, we paste the decorative paper strip. We catch the cardboard straw and we cut it into four equal pieces. On top of this box we will stick the three white pompoms and the pieces of the straw making them look like the candles on the cake.
Step Six:
On a piece of cardboard we will draw a little sign like the one in the picture. We will cut it out and with the help of a marker we paint its contours and inside the poster we write our message. To finish we will put a little tissue paper to beautifully wrap the gift that we are going to give away.
