It's finally the weekend again! Plus it's a spectacular time to sit and read on an al fresco terrace or on a balcony. Or, if the cold has already arrived in your area, it is also a good time to devour books with a hot cup of coffee and a fireplace with a good fire.
So today, at CraftsON, we have thought of all those addicted to reading and we bring you a nice book point very easy to do and the sea of adorable.
Material
- A piece of EVA rubber.
- A piece of white felt.
- A pen or pencil.
- Scissors.
- Glue.
- A nail file.
- A plug.
Our Process
As you see in the first image, the nail file I have used has a round shape on one of the tips, as not all have it, to make that round shape You can put a plug in one of the ends of the file so that it remains with this shape.
We will use the template file (with the cap if necessary) and we will draw it on the EVA rubber. This will be our basis for the bookmark. Then we will add some little ears drawn. We have made two points, a bear and a cat.
Once we have everything marked, we will cut it down the line.
Then we will cut out everything that goes into the face of the animal which will be our book point. In this case, we have cut out the nose and ears in felt. In addition, we have also made some hearts for the nose and blank eye sockets for the bear's eyes.
Afterwards, we have glued everything with heat-sealing glue (although you can use any other) and we have drawn the eyes and whiskers. And we already have our original, fun and beautiful bookmarks to read this fall.
Until the next DIY!
