Hello everybody! In today's craft we are going to make this cactus with pompoms, it is very simple to do, and it is perfect to give in these days of quarantine and more expensive now that Mother's Day is approaching.

Materials that we will need to make our cactus
- Wool to make pompoms, the ideal is to have three colors, one pink for the cactus flower, another green or brown for the body of the cactus and a dark brown to make the part of the earth.
- Egg cup, the size does not matter because we will only need one of the holes where an egg goes.
- Scissors
- Fork to make the pompoms
- Hot silicone or other glue
Hands on craft
- The first thing we are going to do is cut out one of the holes in the egg cup to create a mini pot where we will go assembling our pom pom cactus.
- Then we will make two pompoms with the fork technique: We make mini pompoms with the help of a fork
- We will make these pompoms as dense as possible and then we are going to cut them in a special way to give them the shape. We will cut the pink pompom a lot so that it is a compact ball. On the other hand, the pompom that will make the body of the cactus, we will cut it as if it were a 'Y' but without one of the arms, since the arm that is missing from that 'Y' we will do it with the pink pompom.
- We unite the body of the cactus and the flower making a strong knot between its strips or using hot silicone.
- Once we have the pompoms it's time to ride our cactus. First we will stick the brown wool inside the pot to create the ground base. I suggest you comb this yarn so that the effect is better. Then we will glue the body of the cactus and the flower on this wool.
