Indian tiara with colored feathers

Hello everybody. In one of my last post I showed you how to make a hippie tiara with paper flowers which he had made for a birthday. Well, since little flowers are not good for boys, I also did an indian tiara for each child and today I will show you how I did them.

With very easy to get materials And this simple step by step that I show you in this post, you can make an original Indian tiara for the smallest men. indian tiara

Materials to make an Indian tiara

  • Paperboard.
  • Colored crepe paper.
  • Scissors.
  • Glue.
  • Cord.
  • Hole puncher or cutter.

Procedure

To make this original Indian tiara the first thing is to create the feathers. For this I have used cardboard and I have pasted the crepe paper on it and I have let it dry very well. I have used three colors, green, blue and red.

When the paper was dry I made sure it was well adhered and I was cutting the feathers one by one. I did it by eye, that is, with the scissors I was cutting the shape of the pen trying to make it as uniform as possible.

After this, and to further refine the silhouette of the feather, what I did was make small cuts in the shape of a triangle on the edges of the feathers for the Indian tiara and perfecting the silhouette with the scissors.

I did this procedure with all the pens and with all the colors. I have made three different colors and I have put four feathers in each Indian tiara but we can vary the number of feathers and colors as we like best.

When we have all the feathers cut out and with the details done, the next thing is to drill them to assemble the Indian tiara with the cord. I have used a cutter in principle and I have made small cuts in each feather to pass the cord but then I tried with the hole punch and made two holes and it is easier to pass the cord through each feather to mount the Indian tiara. You can do it as it is easier for you.

For the assembly of the Indian tiara, what we will do is to pass the cord through the holes of the feathers and place feathers in the Indian tiara according to our taste. As I told you before, I have put four feathers in each Indian tiara and I have alternated the colors combining and alternating them.

And so we will have our Indian tiara ready to be able to play disguise ourselves or give or offer it as a gift on a birthday as in my case.

I hope you like my tutorial and that it helps you prepare some nice surprise boxes for a birthday celebration.
