In today's post we bring you how to make a midi ring with silver aluminum and an acrylic flower.
Material
- Aluminum or silver wire.
- Ornament in the form of acrylic flower.
- Round nose pliers and cutting nose pliers.
- A marker.
- Glue.
- A nail file.
Our Process
Some time ago we explained what midi rings were, but for those of you who don't know yet, midi rings are rings that are placed in the middle of the finger and that they are very fashionable. In a previous post, we showed you how to do braided rings and today we will make them with a more resistant material.
To begin with, We will take the silver or aluminum wire and mold it around the marker. We will tighten until we get the necessary width. Once you are ready, we will cut the excess piece with the cutter nose pliers, we will file it with a nail file so that it is smoother and we will finish giving the roundness with the round nose pliers to the midi ring.
When we have finished shaping the metal, we will have to decide what details we want the finish of the midi ring to have. For example, We can place an acrylic flower on one of the tips by gluing it with glue. Another option is to leave it without the flower and keep the spiral shape or, do a single ring and in the closure of the midi ring place the flower or any other trinket that we like.
