Yesterday, Monday, we ended the day with a tutorial on how to make some boats to decorate in the summer parties and today, we bring another new idea for decorating the pool parties that we love so much. Continuing with the concept of recycling, we use materials that we have at home and some balloons.
On this occasion, we will make a beautiful very colorful garland that is ideal for a party with children.
Material
- Colorful balloons.
- A string of about five or six meters.
- T-shirt or old t-shirts to make strips of fabric.
- Scissors.
Our Process
Like the previous craft, this craft is also ideal to do with the little ones in the house and instill in them values of help and teamwork. Values that will serve you throughout your life in all the projects in which you embark.
To begin, we will choose a series of colored balloons that we like and we will inflate them. Once they are swollen, we will knot them on the string leaving a distance of half a meter between balloon and balloon, so the garland will not be too overloaded.
Once we have all the balloons tied, we will take the cloth and we will cut strips of about 30 or 0 centimeters. If we do not have fabric, we will do as in the tutorial of the sailing boats and we will use an old shirt cutting it into strips of two centimeters wide.
Once we have the strips of cloth, the we will go knotting the string between the balloons putting three strips of fabric between the balloon and balloon. To tie them, we will take the strip folded in half and we will pass the two ends inside the central ring, leaving the string in the middle.
To finish, we will only have to hang the garland and enjoy a good summer party.
