Christmas ball with cooking flange

Christmas ball with flange

At this time of year, where the month of November already leaves us, it is frequent that the houses are adorned with Christmas motifs typical, Christmas balls, little angels, the Christmas tree or the living nativity scene, etc. Decorations with motifs for these dates that we can also make ourselves with materials from around the house.

This is what I have made with just a balloon, a cooking bridle and a small doll necklace. An elegant and sensational Christmas ball elegant and unique which does not take many steps to do it. These can be great in any corner of the house as a decoration.

Materials

  • Flange thread for cooking.
  • Tail.
  • Water.
  • Brush.
  • Wide glass.
  • Wrist or bow necklace.

Our Process

Firstly, we will inflate the balloon to the extent that we want our Christmas balls. I have chosen a medium size since that way it will look much more elegant.

Then we will make a water and glue mixture in equal parts to make the megunge in which we will glue our flange thread to the balloon.

Then, we will apply a little glue glue to the first threads so that these are fixed and we will roll up the entire balloon with the flange.

Finally, we brush the balloon and the flange with the previous megunge of glue and water and let it dry for about 24 hours. Later, we will puncture the balloon and we will have our precious Christmas ball, to which we just have to tie a bow or necklace to hang it.
